The Delaware County C.A.R.E. Center is a community-based service of the Delaware County Juvenile Court. The purpose of the C.A.R.E. Center is to provide early intervention support for youth and families outside of the court system.
The C.A.R.E. Center serves all school-aged Delware County youth and their families. The following areas of concern can be addressed at the C.A.R.E. Center:
- No current support services
- Alcohol, drug, or vape use concerns
- Contact with law enforcement
- Parenting support
- Mental health needs
- Lack of basic resources
- Human trafficking concerns
- Violent behaviors in the home, school, or community
- Technology misuse
- Initial school attendance concerns
The following services are provided at the C.A.R.E. Center:
- Comprehensive screening
- Linkage to mental health and drug and alcohol assessments
- Assistance getting linked to appropriate services
- Parenting supports
- Referral to home-based family services
- Crisis/safety planning
- Human trafficking assessment
- Assistance with basic resources
- Mediation of family/community conflicts

- School personnel
- Community agencies
- Law enforcement
- Community members
